This single reminds me alot of the early 90's when I was loving to listen all those brutalities! I'm still listen to, but more selective now and classics like this one can't be unaware. Early
PATARENI in the middle 80's used to be a typical Yugoslavian dirt HC/Punk. But they went more brooootal and start to going to a more grind direction. What I like most is that they still have a catch melody. On this split EP they play more than 15 tacks in about 6 minutes with no stop. This set was once re-recorded and released on the Patareni's
Back to the Root LP and on a split CD/LP with
BUKA, a truly powerful production.
ATTA is an industrial project from Erich (
FEAR OF GOD singer and the man behind the mandatory blog
Good bad Music for bad, bad Times!. Listen to these noises, I always wondered what he used to make them. That even inspired me to make my own industrial noise project back in 1993. But that is another story.
I am including a interview with both bands that came along in the insert. Click on the picture below.

Nice post :-) I made these noises by the use of a broken tape deck, a vacuum cleaner, a hair dryer and my voice. The three tracks were part of a 180 minutes demo - i myself never got over the 20 minutes mark. ATTA's first demo dates back to 1984, btw.
Wicked! With 180 minutes you could make load of releases, at few splits with Agathocles, Unholy Grave, ... hahaha.
Holyshit!!! Destructive noise assault!!!
1984? You broke the Big Brother's cameras, hehehe.
Patareni is fucking intense here.
awesome! thanks!
80 minutes demo? this is unbelievable...
yeah, this is classic, probably the best PATARENI stuff, and this ATTA recordings motivated me to start my own noise (gruuthaagy), i prety much used the same equipment at my early days, always was wondering what you erich used for it, haha. hey guys, i am new to mp3 blogging, just started mine, check it out, i would like to spread the word, so links exchange very much welcome, just leave me a comment.
I was also influenced by the delicate sound of ATTA to start my noise "project" ARMENIA.
I would like to have that demo someday, if it exists.
Atta was really cult those these...industrial noiscore. total noise.
Same noise was produced by Audiostench from Holland with their split 7" War of the Stars...Brutal noise!
