JUDGEMENT - Just Be CD 2000

Just Be is the only CD (a mini CD) and last release of the Japanese band Judgement. Like the previous releases, they got changes on the line-up, this time a female bass player join the band after the departure of Iizawa and to the vocals and lyrics they got the legendary Lip Cream's vocalist Jhaja.
It took me while to get into this album which is quite different from the singles. More melody on the clear vocals, nothing like Lip Cream was and female back vocals are included too. Sure I've expected more but still worth to have it.DOWNLOAD:

Today is your luck day.
According to swedishpunk.com HUVUDTVÄTT only performed once during the career. It was in Sundsvall autumn 1982. So I guess this is the one. For the first time in the Internet (not even on youtube yet) you have the chance to watch this great band which is for me the bridge of the 70's to the 80's Swedish Punk.
On this clip you can catch the first 2 songs: Smutsig Byk + Huvudtvätt. The concert goes over 16 minutes when is interrupted by the police.
Well, I might add so more over here and/or post on youtube in the future.
For now, feel privileged to see with exclusivity.

Although you've probably seen this posted in other blogs, I've decided to post my second pressing of Disinfection by HEADCLEANERS. Well, actually they started the band as HUVUDTVÄTT in 1981 when the brothers Nilsson left the Swedish city of Sundsvalls to Linköping breaking up the great band MASSMEDIA.
Headcleaners were their attempt to reach the international market recording in English.

Anyhow, I present you 充電装置 (JYUDEN SOUCHI) another great rare Japanese band which I know almost nothing about apart the second flexi 8" EP Voice of Fight and few live tracks on the V.A. Corruption LP from 1988. If you only heard them from the compilation, I think you'll be delighted to hear the good studio production of Deadline, Go Destroy and Smash Up.
In fact this flexible 7" is amazing from the beginning to the end. Solid japancore.

No! This blog is not dead! Yes, it has been while since the last time I posted something here, but I'm still checking things out, not coming over here like before due to the crazy schedule in my life. I wish i can get more spare time, because I really enjoy up/download stuff.
I have many records in mind, but I'll start with something that I promised to post.
As you should know, I've posted the Japanese Raise Cain's "Ground Zero Demo" and "Return To Many Shocks and Panic first 7" EP" . Now you get the second 7" EP released by the great American label Sound Pollution.

V.A. Vägra För Helvete! - LP '83 + CD edition

I first got this Swedish compilation back on the old times of trading tapes. I immediately got hooked with many bands on it, such as Sabotage 81, Adrenalin, Rolands Gosskör, Livin' Sacrifice and D.N.A. delivering great Punk Rock songs and, of course, the amazing Asta Kask throwing two new recordings of the old songs "Landsplikt" and "Demokrati"exclusive for this compilation. But the highest point for me is one of my favorites bands of all time, Anti Cimex first song "Eibon" is just over a minute and is in the same vein of the Really Fast and Raped Ass era. The second song "Heroindöd" is a different and slow version of the one released on the Anarkist Attack 7" EP '81, just great! Check out the lyric translation in the comments.
So, when I finally put my hands on the vinyl, I realized that the last two songs on my tape were missing and I had passed years without listen to Nyx Negativ.
Years later (1994?) Rosa honung Records released a digitalized version of this compilation. I don't know why they've excluded Anti Cimex, Rolands Gosskör and Nyx Negativ out of the CD, but they've included Strebers, Tredje Könet, Extrem Exem, Zynthslakt and Raw Animal which makes worth to have both versions.
Oh yeah, Raw Animal was also on the vinyl version but under the name Hjärndöd, playing a slightly different version of "Jag Är Desperat".

Raise Cain also appears on Hilt to Hilt-Yokohama City Hardcore 7" EP and on the classic compilation Eye of The Thrash Guerilla LP. They have another 7" on Sound Pollution Records called Bootleg (to be posted in the future).
As a bonus I'm including their demo from 1986 which is a fucking great recording, it could easily be released as a 7" EP.

NIGHTMARE + CONCRETE SOX - Split 7'' EP '91

Another MCR release. This time Nightmare from Japan versus Concrete Sox from England.

Nightmare play typical Japanese Osaka thrashcore ala S.O.B. They've been putting great records out since their first amazing 7" EP from 1988 on Selfish Records, until now when they're still touring.

Concrete Sox formed 1984 at the heart of what seemed to be an explosion of hardcore and metal music, Nottingham and also part of Derby. They were one of the earliest hybrid metal/hardcore bands to come out of the UK as well as arguably one of the earliest examples of a hardcore band leaning towards metal music (this is typically referred to as "crossover thrash" nowadays) who had an animal and politically conscious message in their music.
This 7" split EP also coincided with the Concrete Sox Japanese tour in 1992.

Kick Out The Real Pain is the name of this 7" split EP released at the end of 1993 by the almighty Japanese label MCR Company.
These two Japanese bands play fast, tight and chaotic Japancore that may leave you listen to them over and over for some time.
D.E.Z. previously got a split flexi 7" EP on MCR Company with the Finnish AMEN and a full 7" EP called Suck Your Soul on the German label Amok Records and distributed in Japan by MCR Company. They also contributed in two compilations: Under The Cloudy Sky 7" EP and Fucking Noise Terror CD. There is a demo from the same set of this 7" EP with 8 songs.
TOXIC NOISE has a weird demo from 1992 called Hell Night, a flexi 7" EP split with SHOKA FRYO (to be posted in the future), a song on the classic V.A. BLLLEEEEAAAUUURRRRGGHHH!- Son of bllleeeeaaauuurrrrgghhh!! 7" EP. Let me know if they have anything else.DOWNLOAD:

CHAOS U.K. - Just Mere Slaves LP '86

When Chaos U.K. went first to Japan in 1985 with a new line up, except for Chaos, they got to a studio and recorded fews songs which appear on the A side of this LP. The B side is a good live recording during the Japanese tour.
This is also the first release of the legendary label Selfish which also released many classics such as Gauze, Lip Cream, Death Side, Systematic Death etc.

REVOLUCION X - 1st 7" EP '94

When I first got this 7" EP I knew it would be an instant classic. It starts with the statement of war declaration from the E.Z.L.N (Zapatist Army of National Liberation) which was just rebelling against the Mexican government in the begin of 1994.
And what you listen next is pure Latin American angry and rough Punk. In your face songs dealing with E.Z.L.N., slave Latin American work in U.S.A, North American border patrol -I'm Making My Future With The Border Patrol is a very sarcastic song-
This is a wonderful effort from 4 French labels ( ANGRR; INEPTIE; TOXIK GRAFITTY and NEW WAVE Records) and how themselves state:
The realization of this 7" single from the Mexican group REVOLUCION X is an act of internationalist solidarity, supported by different French labels acting in a mutual help in response of the ambient sectarianism... It's spread a reality, help a struggle, take our own responsibilities.
I made sure to scan all statements and lyrics (with English and French translation) so you can fully enjoy this historical 7" EP.

Hello fellas! After sometime of laziness I'm back for few more posts. I don't think will be many, but they are here ready to be posted.
鉄アレイ, TETSU ARREY or TETSU ARRAY is a Japanese band first known from the compilation Eye of The Thrash Guerrilla LP '88 bootlegged in 2000.
I don't know when this album was released as it doesn't state on the cover, but I believe it is from 1991. I know it is very hard to find, differently from the second album that was well spread by HG-Fact.
For you guys that never heard TETSU ARREY, they play the typical Japanese "Burning Spirits" music, a Hardcore Punk with some elements of Rock and Metal. I found a little bit hard to swallow when i've heard the second album for the first time, but after few listenings and even more after see them live it became easy to enjoy them. And sure at that time I didn't have the first one which I believe to be the best one.

I saw this demo somewhere with the blog family, but I will post it again, actually I should stop thinking that I shouldn't post something that someone already did, why not? This is my blog, this is my rip and this is for all of you. I just don't like when people clone blogs and don't even mention where about they got it from. But...
Well, Rövsvett first demo, as good as the first two 7" EP "Jesus Var En Tomte" and "Ett Psykiskt Drama I 7 Akter", after those, they had slowdown and started making some week music, accept for the split with Raped Teenage. But they got back with full energy in 1996 when released "Burn The Gay Nuns" CD a tribute To Poison Idea a band they worship. Since then, Rövsvett keep releasing great albums and "Kicked Ass" CD is a prove of that. And some more keep coming.

Hylkiö was a Hardcore/Punk band from Finland better known for their split 7" with Battle of Disarm from 1994 when they also released another 7" split with Urban Riot, playing crust/grindcore.
But before that they had put out two 7" EPs in the pure Scandinavian hardcore veins that would reminds you of Mellakka, Varaus, Kaaos,...
I am posting this rare first one (300 made) in the hope that someone rip Maapallo Itkee Verisiä Kyyneleitä 7" EP from 1993 as I only have that on tape and I tell you what -the second one blows the first away- including a great cover of Disorder's Rampton Song.

This is the only LP released by the Japanese GAS, and compiles the songs from the 7" split EP '84 with Niku-Dan + the 12" EP '85 "Sweet Emotion" + 4 unreleased tracks also from 1985. Different from the previous releases, the music here is more structural, something that will reminds you of Gastunk and there is a reason for it: on Sweet Emotion they count on with the magic guitar of Tatsu from Gastunk. Nightmare in Darkness LP was released by the German Rock-O-Rama Records before releasing Raped The Future LP.
The A side is a studio recording where Riistetyt attempt to do English versions of their old songs. The B side is a good live recording from the Puntala Rock Festival 1983. Although the titles are translated to English, the live recording is in Finnish.DOWNLOAD HERE:

This is so far the only Cólera's studio 7" EP . It was released by the Belgians Hageland Records before the first Cólera's European tour in 1987.
This Brazilian band still going on since 1979 and still playing great shows with the same energy.

Not as furious hardcore as Olho Seco -where they share two members in the line up- Cólera plays a sing along Punk Rock that reminds me of Lama, Asta Kask, Razzia.
Redson, guitar/singer, also had a label which released important Punk albums such as SUB Compilation LP, Cólera- Tente Mudar LP, Ataque Sonoro Compilation LP... and many more.
An interesting fact is that three songs from this 7" have been re-released in Cólera's Pela Paz CD as bonus tracks, letting out "HC-Oi-Punk", which talks about an unified scene between Hardcores, Punks and Skins. I guess the reason why they dropped that song is due to the extreme political differences created by Punks and Skins in the 90's, maybe.DOWNLOAD HERE:

D.R.I. - Dirty Rotten 7" EP '83

On November 6th & 7th of 1982 D.R.I. recorded their first release, the Dirty Rotten EP, fitting 22 songs into 18 minutes on a 7" EP. Only 1000 copies of this EP version were pressed, making it now a very rare collector's item. Demand caused this EP to be later remixed and re-released as a full album with the same 22 songs, but in a different order, and titled "Dirty Rotten LP" . The record has a very gritty sound and is the band's only punk record along Violent Pacification 7" EP without metal influence. It is considered one of the most influential hardcore albums of all time, and is also considered one of the first trashcore records. This album would also be combined with all four songs from their 1984 Violent Pacification EP. The 7" was bootlegged in 2002 I guess. The Dirty Rotten LP was re-released yet again in 2003 as the Dirty Rotten CD, with 22 bonus tracks.

A few time ago when I was checking Serotoninronin blog, I came across to a great Japanese band that I've never heard before called At Det, which reminds me a lot of Crow, Kuro and The Sexual. Then I thought, why not post The Sexual discography?
And here we go. You get the first flexi 7" EP "Suicide" from 1984, the second flexi EP "The Last Days" from 1985, the 2 tracks from Jisatsu Compilation 8" EP from 1985 + unrealesed studio and live tracks recorded in 1983. And I tell you what: there isn't a single bad track here. This is one of great bands from Japan and probably from Earth. Just wait to hear "The Last Days" song and you'll understand what I'm talking about, it sounds like a soundtrack from a sinister movie. While you are reading this, Agathocles is probably releasing a new record and I want more. It's the most profile band putting records out since 1988. Just in the year of 1997 they put out over 15 records between split 7", CD, LP. And I consider this split EP one of their best. For the simple reason that on this record they sound very distinct from other releases, actually they sound in the Shikabane's way, which makes me believe that they got influenced by the Japaneses first 7" EP.
This is the second record from Shikabane and like the first one, it will leave you without breath. Fastpogocore!!!

Well, I thought it was supposed to be posted on 7 Inch HCPunk. After all they never did and I don't remember seen it anywhere else, so here we go.
This is the first Screaming Noise 7" EP. Released by Eat Noise Records which I believe is the band itself. It's hard to tell exactly when it was released as the record doesn't state anything about it . I guess it dates sometime in 1996 or 1997 as the second one is from 1997. Find the second EP here.
Judging by the cover you can guess this is a Disorder worship band, but as they are from Japan it takes the natural course sounding like Swankys, Gai, Confuse, ...
I believe this style of music became a circle. If in the begging the Japanese bands were doing what Chaos U.K., Disorder, Chaotic Dischord did, now you can see the English Wankys doing a good job ripping the Japanese.

More Scandinavian Compilation. Now you get some classic HC/Punk and some obscure Punk bands from Finland. Terveet Kädet, Varaus and Kaaos are the classic bands that you got here before and like the previous posts those tracks wont let you down. Aivoproteesi and KTMK as far as I concern is their only release [check comments for updates], I also remember seeing a live footage of KTMK along Terveet Kädet, Rattus and WDM. Apärät appears on the Propaganda Hardcore '83 LP and have a great 7'' EP from 1985 called "Häiriköt Tulee".
This is my first Finnish post after Jakke Hallikainen death. Jakke was Kaaos' singer and died apparently on 29th of November due to a hearth failure. A big loss for the Punk scene as Kaaos were still playing gigs.

These are for me the most important compilation that came out of Sweden. Really Fast 1st LP was released by Really Fast Records on 1983 and has two of the most profiles Punk bands such as Anti Cimex and Asta Kask.
I still remember the first time that I heard Anti Cimex and was those three songs which still remaining as the best of the band in my opinion.

Bands: Missbrukarna, Anti Cimex, Kurt i Kuvös, Product Assar, Hidden Industrials, Terror Pop, Asta Kask, Huvudtvätt, Nasty Boys, DNA, Destroy, Sune Studs och Grönlandsrockarna, E.A.T.E.R., P-Nissarna.

Really Fast Vol. 2 was released in 1985 and is as good as the first issue, also all great bands specially Sound of Disaster, Asocial, Mob 47, Sötlimpa, ...

Bands: Krixhjälters, S.O.D., Asocial, Tatuerade Snutkukar, Swankers P.M.S., Nyx Negativ, Mob 47, Bristles, AB Hjärntvatt, Ingron Hutlös, R.T.S., Distrust, Subway Army, Sötlimpa.

And the last one on this post is the Really Fast Vol. 3 released in 1985 which follow the other two and is probably the most solid one with some heavy and fast hardcore. Also featuring one of the best Punk track of all time in my opinion, of course, is the Disarm's "Va Dig Själv".
Bands: Avskum, Discard, Von Boom, D.T.R., S.S.S., Fear of War, Existenz, Slam, Disarm, Dom Där, Svart Parad, Bedrövlerz, Raped Teenagers, Pöbel Möbel.

Those three LPs were re-released in 2000, manufactured and distributed by Sound Idea in well done CD format, but is already sold out which is a shame, because this is a must have album if you like Scandinavian Punk.

After a long time away from the blog, I'm back with a Brazilian classic compilation which describes very well how the Brazilian Hardcore/Punk sounds.
This LP was recorded at the end of 1982 and first released by Estúdios Vermelhos in 1983 followed by Ataque Frontal in 1985 and Indie Records in 1989. Then remastered to CD by Devil Discos. The problem is, with the re-equalizing process the sound changed too much and even worse is that the gaps they put between tracks, where you can not find on the vinyl making this record a non stop gem. I still believe worth to have the CD version, is like you are listen to a different recording, but you'll only notice it if you listen the vinyl version along it.
First we have Ratos de Porão - before João Gordo era - delivering their dirt hardcore with Jão (the only original member till nowadays) on vocals. Some Brazilian Punks believe that was R.D.P.'s best line up.
Cólera is another band that still going on recording and gigging, although they got slightly softer, still doing their catch sing along Punk Rock with great live performance.
Psykóze only register on vinyl is a sick apocalyptic disoriented chaotic Punk with crazy vocals talking about the end of the world, how shit mankind is and so on.
Fogo Cruzado -I always thought that was a great name for a band- means Crossfire and, oh yeah, it sounds like a real crossfire. It's a fucking original band that you wont listen anything like that combining powerful vocals and pounding drums. This is also the only studio register on vinyl although they have a split LP with Olho Seco where live performances are found.

On top you can see the first back cover press which comes with R.D.P's wrong songs printed.

The reason why this blog is called "Carry On screaming" is because Disorder and Extreme Noise Terror have a song with that name. But it was when I listened to this killer version that I really decided to use the name.
E.N.T. here deliver 4 tracks with the furious that you haven't heard before. The recording is quite good for a practice and I'm surprised that it's never been on vinyl.

PATARENI + ATTA - "Deadland Massacre" Split 7" EP

This single reminds me alot of the early 90's when I was loving to listen all those brutalities! I'm still listen to, but more selective now and classics like this one can't be unaware. Early PATARENI in the middle 80's used to be a typical Yugoslavian dirt HC/Punk. But they went more brooootal and start to going to a more grind direction. What I like most is that they still have a catch melody. On this split EP they play more than 15 tacks in about 6 minutes with no stop. This set was once re-recorded and released on the Patareni's Back to the Root LP and on a split CD/LP with BUKA, a truly powerful production.
ATTA is an industrial project from Erich (FEAR OF GOD singer and the man behind the mandatory blog Good bad Music for bad, bad Times!). Listen to these noises, I always wondered what he used to make them. That even inspired me to make my own industrial noise project back in 1993. But that is another story.

According to a Japanese friend of mine you should pronounce it as "Syuudan Jisatsu" which means "A Mass Suicide", but also doing a search over the net, I've found people saying "Shuudan Jisatsu" translate to "Group Suicide". More search done and I found a thread over 7inchPunk.com forum where people are trying to solve the mystery of "Syudan Jisatsu". Some people says this is a Finnish band, others say it has Sakevy from GISM on vocal. I don't know, but it sounds alot like GISM, specially the vocals.
I also found a review on the great site www.austrinken.com saying:
"Frankly: I know next to nothing about this band since more than a decade ago, SYUDAN JISATSU totally drowned within the sea of anonymity. In addition to this, I always thought that this troop is called SHUDAN JISATSU, but a trustworthy friend told me that their moniker is SYUDAN JISATSU. I’m not sure what’s accurate – my Japanese got a little bit rusty recently… Anyway, despite the completely metal looking cover as well as the "names" of the members ("Fist Fight", "Human of the Ghoul", "Erotic Guy Machine" – Jeeeeeezzuuuus!), this platter entirely rules. SYUDAN JISATSU are playing not too swift, but outright driving, slightly metal influenced hardcore with a deep shouting vocalist. Not only because of the singer, who barks in the notorious Sakevi fashion, this EP, that doesn’t have a lyric sheet and/or any inserts, reminds me of GISM ("Detestation" era) and that’s a damn good sign in my book. If you’ll see this murderous single, do yourself a favor and purchase it!! By the way, is anyone familiar with more items of this overwhelming horde?" On the Japanese site More Noise there is a review but is in Japanese.
For the Finnish part, well, I got the feeling that my friend Otto (Força Macabra, Selfish) has something to do releasing that. I have to ask him about it. And it was released around 1997, I guess. Maybe no one will tell us the truth about this band (or project).

DISORDER - Air Raid / Law and Disorder 7" EP '80

Yes this IS the first Disorder's single, but, NO, this Is NOT the Bristol's Disorder, Yes they also come from England, but from Sunderland (near Newcastle). What a Disorder, innet?
Formed in 1978 as Cranium Disorder, then shorted the name to Disorder in 1979.
This single was released in April 1980 by Ace Records. 750 copies were made, only 100 with picture cover. Which has a funny story. On Detour Records you can find more about them as their second single Reality Crisis and the unreleased 3rd which was included on the compilation Bored Teenage LP.
The first single was also part of the bootleg Cheap and Nasty Vol. 1 LP, 600 copies made with many rare 7". On that LP back cover you also can read the story about the cover sleeve:
"One of the bands grand fathers was a W.W.1 veteran and extremely patriotic who collected books and memorabilia ect on the war. To say he was gutted when his grandson, ripped out a page to make the record sleeve, from one of his most treasured books is an understatement!..." "The tracks were published by 'Criminal Injury Publishers', because whilst the band were playing a gig, the drummer was shot in the eye with an air-gun and they used the compensation to finance the record."
Kill By Death blog also have posted this single, but only upload the first track -sorry but I like Law and Disorder pretty much, couldn't let it out- Mark Rough, the singer of the band also made a comment over there, check it out.

KAAOS & TERVEET KÄDET - So Much Fun Split LP

Ok, we don't have to introduce two of the greatest HCxPunk bands coming from Finland. They are very well known, and have great records since the beginning of the 80's. But I don't think everyone knows that they have a split LP. So, if you didn't know it, now you do and have the opportunity to listen to this master piece.

So Much Fun was released in 1984 by the Germans Weird System. The label's still around, re-issuing great German classics. I just don't know why they never worked on this record again. Especially because you can't find these Terveet Kädet songs anywhere else. The same goes for Itsemurha -a wonderful quiet song- from Kaaos, not even included on the (almost) Total Kaaos CD. Altought the others songs, excluding Onks Tää Elämää, are taken from the Ristiinaulittu Kaaos LP .

ZYKLOME A - Made in Belgium LP

Zyklome A was a wonderful hardcore/Punk band from Belgium. They first appeared on the Belgian compilation Second Time Around. After that, they shared a great split 7" EP with Moral Demolition in 1983. Made in Belgium LP came up in 1984. On the follow year they participated on V.A. Alle 24 Goed! LP featuring Belgian bands. Also in 1985 they were on the classic international Cleanse the Bacteria compilation LP. All their recordings plus live sets are available on Noise and Distortion CD released by Grand Theft Audio in 1997.

V.A. BEATING THE MEAT LP

I normally don't like compilations made by songs taken from already existent records, but this one is great. It Introduced me to some bands that I never heard before and yes, has some exclusive songs here too, like the Cólera tracks, I haven't heard these versions anywhere else and I believe it feats their first singer.
I pretty much like all bands here. Fast and dirt HC from Huvudtvätt, Neos, Terveet Kädet, Rattus, rough tracks by Olho Seco, Cólera, some Anarcho Punk British style from Cult Maniax, Protest, Suicide and the South African Power Age. S.I.B is a Punk Rock band from Italy but the female singer doesn't sound Italian at all, very typical English indeed.

Another exclusive track comes from the German Upright Citizens, "Stormy Monday" , well, they already had that song on "V.A. Keine Experimente! LP '83" but was called "Gift To Europe" and of course with different lyrics.Plastick was a band featuring the guy behind the Xcentric Records & Tapes, the 2 songs here are very distinctive, one being a quiet peace Punk and the other a gloomy low tempo with genial vocal.

If you love ASTA KASK and never heard SÖTLIMPA, be sure that your new passion will be this band. This is the best melodicpogopunkrock coming from Sweden. Alot of feeling, energy and power coming from these guys.
Their first release was "Kaka Till Middag" Demo Tape '82, (self release) very primitive Punk Rock, but still good, then in 1983 another tape called "On The Street Again" (AGG Tapes) and the first vinyl often called "Loften" (Self release). 3 tracks on V.A. "Raped Ass" Tape (AGG Tapes). In 1984 came the "A Non Fitting Generation" 12" EP released by a major label called Skvaller. 2 tracks "Raped Ass #3" Tape '85 + 2 Tracks on V.A. "Really Fast LP '85".
I decided to upload both vinyl here, they are very hard to find and if you find, be prepare to spend a good money on it. But is likely that you will find the CD Sötlimpa 1982-84 (AGG Tapes www.eggtapes.nu), including both vinyl and the tapes. Maybe is still available in Swedish shops.

VARAUS - Tuomittu Elämään EP

Varaus was one of the icons of the Finnish Hardcore Punk in the early 80's along with Kaaos, Riistetyt, Terveet Kädet, Bastards and so. But with an unique guitar structure and a well done vocalisation.
Unfortunately I don't own this record, I got the tracks from the semi-discography CD called "Requiem" and my friend Ameba Chaos provided me with the covers scan.
One of the reason I am posting this record is to find out if any of you out there own the first and only Varaus 12" EP (1/2 MLP) self released in 1982.
On Requiem CD we can only find 6 of the 9 tracks, I have the other tracks downloaded from soulseek but the quality is bad. So if anyone could post this record or let me know a link to, would be great.

SHIKABANE - 1st 7" EP 人間に生まるること難し・・・

The year was 1997, my friends and I had just opened a squat. A new guy was also moving in and with him some cassete tapes. So, I was fixing something in my room when I heard music coming from this guy's room. It was Gauze, and I thought: "wow! I haven't heard that for while" (a few months maybe). Then a new band came up on that tape. It was Japanese like Gauze, tight like Gauze, but faster and short -not too short- just like a HC band should be. After 1, 2, 3 songs I had to ask what the name of that "atomic bomb" was, ironicly coming from Japan. It was SHIKABANE. Needless to say that became the top band for that year.
I needed the record though, as the tape was missing some tracks. It only had 8, with the last one being incomplete! But at that time it wasn't so easy to hunt records like nowadays.
Although it was quite easy to get their next release, which was a split with AGATHOCLES (what a great record) both bands delivered a wicked fastloudpogotightcore. I was happy, but was still looking for the first single. Then came the wonderful 12"/ CD "Living for Someone or Living For Myself" released by MCR. Next came another single/MCD "Ego & Desire", where they started to change their style to a more dark direction, combining slow and fast tempos and even gloomy with the "Why Do You Live? LP".
Now the year was 2003, I'd lived in many squats, got loads of records, but still could't find that 1st Shikabane single, until -thanx to the internet world- I finally found it on the Circledelic shop in Japan. Of course I orded it immediataly, then I waited, waited, and nothing arrived. I told Shoko (the seller) and fortunately after a few weeks he got me another copy. Again I waited, waited and nothing. I knew Shoko wasn't a rip-off guy, I had bought records from him before and I trusted him. Then it came to me: I asked him to what address he had sent the parcel to and, bingo! He hadn't updated my address and it was sent to an old squat. I had to knock on the new tenants door and ask about the record, luckly they found one of the copies. I first got it on tape when I used to trade recordings. When I saw it on a friend of mine list I thought it was samples taken from already existent albums. A compilation featuring a line up like DISORDER, CHAOS UK, RIPCORD, E.N.T.,... wouldn't be possible I've reckoned, but as soon as got it from the mail I put it on the tape deck and for my good surprise I was wrong, brand new recording of old songs by Disorder, Chaos U.K., played faster and I got shocked when listen to E.N.T.'s "Bullshit Propaganda", it was the first time I ever listened to that song and I kept listen to it for many times. I am not sure if all recordings are exclusive for this album, but I like this compilation from the beginning to the end. Many years after I was in shock again when I was in a record shopping and I saw this record, it was the first time that I saw the cover picture, of course I bought it imediataly. 01. INOCENTES - Miséria e Fome EP

This record was supposed to be a LP but due to the censorship during the Brazilian military dictatorship, it was reduced to a 7'' EP. But the lyrics here included still strong as the others that were banned. And the sound is harsh as you never heard none doing before.
In 1988 "Miseria e Fome" was re-released by "Devil Discos" as a full LP including all 11 tracks. The first track on the single is called "Apenas Conto o Que Eu Vi (O que Senti)", but on the LP the same track is called "Miséria e Fome".

Inocentes was formed in 1981, they 1st appearence on vynil was on V.A. "Grito Suburbano" LP along with Cólera and Olho Seco in 1982.

DISORDER - Mental Disorder EP

There are few reasons why I'm posting this record:
1st because I went to Bournemouth (English coast) last weekend to watch a gig and once again I met Taff (Disorder's bass guitar) and we were chatting about the band for while;
2nd because I was watching a brazilian movie called "Bicho de Sete Cabeças" (Brainstorm) which is about a middle class teenager, who lives a normal life until his father sends him to a mental institution;
3rd because I think this is the best Disorder's release and their are a fucking wicked band.
Disorder still playing but I'd rather call it "Taff and his 'band' " than Disorder. Sometime he puts some good guys together and something good come out of this but sometimes is just a tragedy. Since 1998 I've watched some good and some terrible gigs.
I wish i could see Boobs (the singer on this record) joining the vocals again but he still in Spain serving years in jail. Apparently Steve (guitar) is in Holland, dunno if still involved with Punk. Virus (drummer) just don't care about Punk anymore.
I fucking like the cover of this record, the front drawing is hilarious, the back cover you can find the lyrics and a note that says:
"The Rampton Song is dedicated to Martin who used to play drums for Amebix. He was arrested by the police whilst walking along a pavement. The 'offence' was strange behaviour. He was put under observation in the psychiatric ward of the Royal 'free' (joke) Hospital in London, He was held for two months and released...Their game didn't work, he kept his sanity."
Also, keeping the Disorder spirit, there is a mess on the track list on the cover and on the label of the record between "Maternal Obsession" and "Bullshit Everyone" where they are swapped.
"Mental Disorder was recorded on october 1982 and released on 1983 by "Order Records" which was in fact Riot City Records, I mean, Order Records was created by the Riot City Records boss Simon Edwards only to release Disorder's records.

BALANCE - Why answer Still Missing

This is my first only Japanese post and you better get used coz I am a japanese-freak, I love japancore.
Don't missjudge this band by the name or even the cover, I know it looks a bit strange, I myself wouldn't buy this record if I didn't know them before. First time I heard Balance was on "V.A. This The Life Vol. 3" released by M.C.R in Japan. Only one track that made me go mad to find out about other releases. And yes I got hold of this master piece and their split CD with U.C.A "Two 'Existence' With One Heart". You can't go wrong if you like bands like Death Side and Crude, actually Balance comes from Hakodate City the same as Crude, Mustang, Etæ, sharing similar music and members.

V.A. THE VIKINGS ARE COMING LP '85

This was first released by Uproar Records in Sweden, then licensed to New Face Records in Brazil. Uproar release was a single LP, soft paper poster size cover and including a Uproar zine #3 which covered all bands on the compilation. The Brazilian release came up on 1987 and is a double LP, hard gatefold cover, some different photos, but no zine.

Both have the 23 tracks, 8 bands which varies from the melodic Punk Rock of Ugly Squaw to the rawpower of Crude S.S. But be careful and don't get too mellow when listen to Rescues in Future's "You Can Try".

OLHO SECO - Botas Fuzis Capacetes

I believe many people first heard of Olho Seco when listen to the Maximum Rock'n'Roll V.A. "Welcome To 1984 LP" where they blasted with the second track after the killer TERVEET KÄDET leaving you breathless. But by that time they already have released this first single, taking part on a tape compilation featuring bands around the world called "Raw War" realeased by Xcentric Noise, also the infamous live V.A. "O Começo do Fim do Mundo" LP, but before that they were on the first ever Brazilian Punk 12'' "Grito Suburbano" shared with CÓLERA and INOCENTES, dated of 1982 also released by Punk Rock Discos which was run by Fábio, Olho Seco's singer.

Also on Kill From The Heart you can find a discography as well. Still possible to get some Olho Seco's CDs at Brazilian shops, ebay, and some distros. I don't know too much about this band and I only heard these 2 songs and I have to tell you that "Johnny Rebell" has a beautiful melody, the first time i heard it, was in the home made tape compilation called "HARDCORE HISTORY Vol. 10 Sweden". They also appear on V.A. Vänd Oss Inte Ryggen LP '82 (if any of you out there have this record upload it please, I'd like to listen to).

DEATH SIDE / CHAOS U.K. - Split CD '93

These are two of my favorities bands (you will probaly hear me saying it all the time).
Chaos U.K. still going since 1979 and never retired, just keep change members, Chaos, the only original member had quite sometime ago and Mower got back on vocals, you can check it on the new split with Fuk (another Chaos U.K. based band including Gabba).
Death Side, one of the greatest Japanese "Burning Spirits" bands, released 2 wonderful LPs also on Selfish records + 3 singles and have tracks in many compilations. Few yers ago all their stuff were re-released in CDs, I am not sure if you still can find it.
On "The Will Never Die" 2xCD, which includes all singles and compilation tracks also includes "Where Are your Eyes" that was supposed to be on this album but wasn't.
I also had to split the tracks one by one, as on the CD is devided as 2 tracks (Death Side / Chaos U.K.).

Oh yeah, I almost forgot to tell that this album was bootleged in 1998, the only vynil version of it. 500 copies were made and today is rare and expensive as any other original Death Side records.
This post goes to the memory of Chelsea, the great Death Side's guitarist that died on 17th of august 2007.

RIISTETYT - Laki Ja Jarjestys 1st 7'' EP '82

Riistetyt is a classic Finnish Punk band that was previous called Cadgers. This was their first release, Cadgers had a split 7" EP shared with Kaaos, both were released by P-Tuotanto (http://www.ptuotanto.tk/). Above you see the front and back cover of the first press, the second one has a different cover, as you can see below.
Riistetyt was born in 1981 and broke up in 1985, then got back together in 1999 and still going on till now releasing new records and touring around the world.
